Ordering Online

If you are placing your order online for the first time at Fly Model Cars simply add any item into your basket & go to the checkout pages.

Payment

We only charge when orders are ready to be dispatched. You will be asked to enter your card information when you check out, or you can call us with your details. We can take payment from major Credit and Debit cars, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta

We always take payment in £GBP, and the exchange rate is calculated at the exact time of the transaction. Your payment will show on your credit card statement in your own currency, with the exchange rate used at the time of transaction.

Shipping

UK Customers (including the Channel Islands)
Orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post, or Fastway & Parcel Force for heavier parcels. Whilst most orders will be delivered within 1-3 days, unfortunately some items can take longer. If you have not received your order within 7 days of receiving the shipping confirmation email please contact us. Please note however that Royal Mail do not consider items to be lost until 14 days after posting.

Non UK Customers
We ship worldwide. Shipping charge is payable on all items, with the charges set on a product by product basis dependent upon weight.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail. Most orders will normally be delivered within 3-7 days, unfortunately some items can take longer. If you have not received your order within 14 days of receiving the shipping confirmation email please contact us.

How safe is it to order from your site?
The transaction takes place through a secure server. This allows your details to be transmitted securely and encrypted. We use the strongest currently available encryption program to ensure no details are readable to anyone other than ourselves. As an alternative we also allow order to be processed through cheques, fax and phone.

What happens if the computer crashes half way through entering my credit card details?
If you do find that during the order process your computer or browser crashes please do not hesitate to contact us by phone. If outside office hours please leave your name and contact details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What happens if the cars I order are not in stock?
You will contact you via email or telephone if a car has gone out of stock before your order was recieved.

What happens if the cars I order do not arrive?
In the unlikely event of a parcel going missing please take the following steps. Firstly check with your local postal sorting office, it is possible the post office may have attempted delivery but if no-body was home to receive the parcel it may have been returned to the sorting office. If there is still no trace, notify us and we will investigate.

What happens if the model I recieve has been damaged during transit?
Every effort is made to ensure you order arrives in perfect condition. If the parcel has been damaged during transit please notify us immediately, keep all packaging and damaged parts as these may be needed in the event of a claim against the carrier. If the car arrives safely but is not of an acceptable standard please notify us imediatelly describing the faults.

How long will it take for orders to arrive?
Orders are despatched on the next working day for cars held in stock. Inland UK takes 1-2 days, EU approx 3-4 days, ROW approx 5-7 days.
